The Digital Poverty Alliance and the Learning Foundation
Are you passionate about ensuring everyone can engage effectively with the digital world? Has the pandemic reaffirmed for you that more needs to be done and motivated you to be at the forefront of the response? Are you a natural communicator who enjoys working with partners to find solutions? Are you skilled in building relationships, whether these are nurturing existing partners or seeking new organisations to work with?
Then this could be the role for you. At the Learning Foundation and Digital Poverty Alliance, we are searching for our first Partnerships Manager. You will both act as account manager with a number of partners – large and small; whilst also looking to build new relationships with organisations and corporates. You must be experienced in this type of role and have a commercial mindset to resonate with our partners, whilst understanding the distinct difference of working within a small charity.
You will work with our small team of ten to ensure that partners feel engaged with our work, have the chance to input into the Alliance’s work, and to seek new partners. Partners may be making financial or pro bono commitments, or may be purely strategically aligned with our mission. The Foundation and DPA aims to work through partners in delivering to our core mission and, as such, we will retain only a small core team and through support from PR and other agencies as required.

The Learning Foundation is a registered charity. The whole team work remotely from their homes around the UK. We run the Digital Poverty Alliance, launched in 2021, supported by Curry’s and the IET, which aims to end digital poverty in the UK. We are bringing together charities, corporates and government to address the underlying issues stopping families gaining full access to digital services such as education and health and safety.
