inspiring learning through technology

Get involved

We at the Learning Foundation passionately believe that learning technology is an essential part of 21st century education. Our mission is to ensure that every child can benefit and that no child is left behind because of their background or family circumstances and you can get involved.

Get involved

Why support us?

We have helped hundreds of thousands of children nationwide, working with schools and families to ensure that all young learners, and especially the most disadvantaged, have access to the best quality digital learning resources at school and at home. This success would not have been possible without the incredible generosity of our supporters and the donations we receive from individuals, companies and grant making foundations. If you get involved you can be one of them.

There are many ways that you too can support us and every donation makes a big difference – for example, just £20 could buy a portable Wi-Fi device to start helping a child access revision resources online at home, even if they don’t have broadband.

There are lots of ways you can help us help a young learner today. As the cost of technology falls we are able to link more and more children with the joy of discovery.

There are several easy ways you can make a regular or one-off donation to help us with our mission.

Fundraise

Fundraise

There are many fun ways for individuals, families, schools and community groups to raise money for the Learning Foundation

If you are an individual, family, school or community group who would like to do something to raise money for the e-Learning Foundation, why not organise an event or activity from our Fundraising Ideas page or come up with your own fun and exciting activities?

If you are planning to do a sponsored event such as a long-distance run, swim or cycle to raise money, you can set up your own fundraising page with Virgin MoneyGiving here. Let us know if you need help to get your page up and running.

All donations are collected by Virgin Giving and paid directly to us, with no need for you to collect sponsorship monies. We have chosen to work with Virgin Money Giving because fundraisers and sponsors do not have to pay to use the website. Virgin Money Giving is a not-for-profit company so more of your money goes directly to us as your chosen charity.
